Report: Edina woman puts nephew in Lexus trunk to keep him off leather seats

The 38-year-old aunt had warned the 11-year-old boy that if he kept getting wet on the water rides at Valleyfair that he'd have to ride in the trunk, police said, according to WCCO. The boy was excited about riding there, and he had space for fresh air where a console folded down. But she's been charged with child endangerment.

The 38-year-old aunt had warned the 11-year-old boy that if he kept getting wet on the water rides at Valleyfair that he'd have to ride in the trunk, police said, WCCO reports. In another case of questionable judgment, a man rode on his motorcycle with two kids, ages 3 and 5, down Highway 13 in Mendota Heights last month, WCCO reported. He put the younger child in front of him and the older one in back. None of the three had helmets. He was also charged with child endangerment.

He told authorities he does it all the time, the Star Tribune reported.
