Crews searching for a missing western Wisconsin woman pulled a minivan from the Mississippi River Wednesday evening and according to KARE 11, authorities confirmed that the body of Marya Christiansen was inside it.

Christiansen was reported missing Saturday after the 23-year-old mother of two left the home of friends in Red Wing and did not arrive at her own home in Hager City.

She'd been driving a white 2006 Dodge Caravan. Family members told KSTP the vehicle pulled from the Mississippi Wednesday matched that description.

Friends and supporters had organized a volunteer search effort and WCCO reports more than 130 people took part.

According to KARE, Sheriff Nancy Hove said the body had been identified based on information the family provided about Christiansen's clothing and tattoos.
