Report of shots fired prompts brief lockdown at 4 St. Paul schools
Four schools in St. Paul were put on precautionary lockdown after a report of shots fired Thursday.
WCCO says the shots were fired just before noon, near the intersection of Selby Avenue and Victoria Avenue.
Lockdown at four schools – Central Senior High School, J.J. Hill Montessori Magnet School, and Maxfield elementary and Obama elementary – started around noon and lasted for about 30 minutes, the Pioneer Press says.
KSTP reports police are looking for a suspect who ran toward I-94.
Nobody was injured.
