Report: Several boats damaged in Inver Grove Heights marina fire


About a dozen boats stored near a marina along the Mississippi River in Inver Grove Heights were damaged after a fire broke out Friday afternoon.

Inver Grove Heights Fire Chief Judy Thill told KSTP that firefighters have been on the scene near River Heights Marina since 1 p.m.

Thill says the damage to the boats varies. Few other details are currently available.

FOX 9 reports the rest of the marina was not affected and there were no injuries.
