4 badly hurt in van rollover in SW Minnesota crash
A van driver lost control on an icy stretch of eastbound Interstate 90 near Worthington in southwest Minnesota early Thursday morning, and 13 people were thrown from the vehicle in a rollover crash, the Pioneer Press reports.
All 15 in the van were injured, four seriously, and three were taken by air ambulance to a Sioux Falls hospital with life-threatening injuries, the Star Tribune reported. The passengers were meatpacking employees, the Star Tribune reports.
The driver of the van, 29-year-old Altayeb Arbab-Azzein, of Sioux Falls, was wearing his seatbelt, KSFY reported.. The State Patrol says alcohol was not detected.
All 15 passengers were male, KWOA reported.
It was a 2003 Chevrolet Express G3500, the Worthington Daily Globe reports.
