Reports: 4 armed men rob Rochester AT&T, 7-10 workers tied up


Police are searching for four men suspected of robbing an AT&T store in Rochester.

The Rochester Post Bulletin reports police were called to the store at 430 Crossroads Drive at 12:44 p.m., with witnesses reporting four men robbed the store at gunpoint.

Police have set up a perimeter in the area, and the police K-9 unit has also been deployed.

According to ABC 6, seven to 10 workers were held hostage during the robbery as well as one customer, with the suspects wielding handguns.

No shots were fired during the incident and nobody was hurt. The four men, described as black men with two of them wearing orange vests, escaped and are currently on the loose, reports say.

KTTC reports police are warning people to avoid the area while they search for the suspects.
