If you own a red or green Minnesota Wild home jersey you might want to keep it because it could be on its way to an antique store. Michael Russo was the first to report – and Fox Sports confirmed it – that the NHL is implementing a rule that allows teams to have one home uniform and one road uniform.

Minnesota, and every other team in the league, currently have alternate uniforms to choose from.

Russo says the Wild are in the process of choosing red or green home sweaters, with green being most likely. The report from Fox Sports includes details about slight redesigns coming because Adidas is replacing Reebok as the official uniform provider of the NHL.
