A federal bankruptcy judge overseeing the case of Maryland-based Ritz Camera & Image has approved the company's plan to liquidate its assets after failing to find a buyer for the specialty camera shops, Bloomberg reports.

There are Proex stores in Eden Prairie, Rochester, St. Paul and Woodbury, according to its website.

The Business Journal notes Ritz closed 19 Minnesota stores three years ago after its first bankruptcy case.
