The body of a woman found in Silver Lake Thursday has been identified as 53-year-old Dawn Jeanette Ehret. Ehret has been missing since Wednesday.
Rochester Police told WCCO Ehret’s body was recovered from Silver Lake on Thursday afternoon. Investigators do not suspect foul play. No other details were immediately available.
Family members told police they were worried when Ehret could not be found because she suffered from health problems, FOX 9 reported.
Reports of the Ehret’s disappearance emerged at about the same time that authorities located a Sartell woman who had been missing for the past two weeks. The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release Thursday that Sarah Wincher, 36, was found “safe and well,” but didn’t give specifics about where the woman was or why she had disappeared.
Meanwhile, Minneapolis police continue to search for Joe Zurnieden, 42, who went missing July 1.
Zurnieden’s wife, Katy, told FOX 9 that she fears her husband may have fallen into the Mississippi River.
Joe Zurnieden is described as white, 6 feet tall and 165 pounds, with dark, receding hair. Katy Zurnieden told FOX 9 her husband's sudden disappearance in very out of character for the father of two.
