Roommate arrested in death of former Minn. woman in Colo.

Police in Colorado have arrested the roommate of Leann "Annie" Meyer, a woman with Minnesota ties who was missing for months and whose remains were found near a cabin in Park County, Colo., on July 1, the Denver Post reports.

The Post reports that Meyer's 51-year-old roommate, from Lakeland, Colo., was arrested on suspicion of murder Monday by Wheat Ridge, Colo., police and investigators from the Park County Sheriff's Office.

Police have said they consider the case a homicide.

Meyer grew up in the Mankato area, and she has family members in Minnesota who have been active in a search for her.

Pat Meyer last heard from her daughter in February, and she has been to Colorado five times to search for her daughter.
