Rybak to speak at Democratic convention
R.T. Rybak will be the first sitting Minneapolis mayor to speak at the Democratic National Convention since Hubert Humphrey delivered a historic civil rights address in 1948, the Star Tribune reports.
The three-term mayor is one of five vice chairs of the Democratic National Committee. He is also president of the National Conference of Democratic Mayors.
