S. Mpls bar shooting leaves 1 dead, 1 injured
Police are looking for suspects in a shooting at Champions Bar in Minneapolis that killed one man and wounded another early Thursday morning.
KSTP reports the 51-year-old victim, who has not been identified, died at Hennepin County Medical Center at 7:30 a.m. The other man suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Police responded to the bar on the 100 block of West Lake Street shortly before 12:30 a.m., FOX 9 said.
WCCO reports Champions was hosting karaoke and offered drink specials for "ladies night" Wednesday, so the bar was very crowded when a fight broke out and gunshots were fired.
No arrests have been made. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 612-692-8477.
