The Twins and Astros are the only teams in Major League Baseball with fewer than 10 road losses this season.

Minnesota used a 2-run homer by Miguel Sano to come from behind and beat the Angels 3-2 Sunday afternoon in Anaheim, pushing their road record to 17-6 on the season. Only the Astros, 21-6 on the road, have been better away from home.

Sunday's win keeps the Twins (29-23) one game ahead of the Indians (29-26) and two and a half games in front of the Tigers (28-28).

Sano's blast, his 14th of the season, came against ex-Twins starter Ricky Nolasco with one out in the sixth.

The Twins took three of four from the Angels and now play six straight Tuesday-Sunday in Seattle and San Francisco.

The Mariners have won seven of eight entering the series.

Minnesota didn't win its 29th game until July 6 last season.
