School bus critically injures pedestrian in St. Paul
A pedestrian was sent to the hospital in critical condition after being struck by a school bus in St. Paul Tuesday afternoon.
WCCO reports the man in his 50s or 60s was hit while the bus was taking a left-hand turn from Western Ave. onto Aurora Ave. He was transported to Regions Hospital and is expected to survive.
The driver and the school bus company are cooperating with police. Alcohol is not suspected, according to WCCO.
Counseling will be available for the 26 students onboard, KSTP-TV says. None of the students or the driver of the bus were injured.
