Sea turtle goes under for X-ray

KARE 11 has the story of a sea turtle undergoing a CT scan at the University of Minnesota Veterinary hospital Friday. "Oyster" has lived at Sea Life, the Mall of America's aquarium, for 16 of her 26 years. But veterinarians there say she may have arthritis in one of her flippers.

The 84-pound turtle was accompanied by a team of experts during her ordeal. She was transported by truck, then sedated and scanned.

Doctors say she missed only one day of work and is back on display. No word what they'll do if the scans reveal arthritis or other problems.

Sea turtles can live up to 80 years.
