Search for fleeing fugitive Wisc. police lieutenant

A massive search is underway for a Wisconsin police officer wanted on criminal charges.

The Associated Press reports that Brad Young, 43, led Barron County Sheriff's deputies on a high speed car chase Monday evening, then fled on foot into a wooded area near Rice Lake. WEAU-TV reports that the Waupon police lieutenant is wanted for burglary and stealing a pickup truck.

Deputies, local police officers and SWAT team members searched into the night for the fugitive officer and homes within one-square mile were temporarily evacuated. Here's the story on the manhunt from WEAU:
