Search for missing snowmobiler to resume Monday

Superior police spent Sunday searching for a snowmobiler who went missing Saturday. WDIO reports that Craig Friebe was last seen riding his snowmobile on St. Louis Bay in Superior. The search for the 51-year-old man was suspended at nightfall. It will resume Monday morning.

The body of a 77-year-old Illinois woman, missing since Friday, was discovered in Lafayette County in southeastern Wisconsin. KARE 11 reports that Mary Scudder of Freeport, Ill., was believed to be en route to Superior, Wis., when she disappeared. Scudder's body was found about 30 feet from her car. An autopsy is planned, but the initial investigation shows exposure to the elements was a factor.
