Update: Dogs stolen from coffee shop have been found

A pair of missing Brittany spaniels has been taken from Princeton.

Update: The Brittany spaniels stolen from outside a coffee shop over the weekend have been found.

The Mille Lacs County Animal Control updated their Facebook post late Monday. The post (which is in all caps, but we've made it normal here) says:

"The last and final uplifting update!!!! Word just came in and the dogs have been found. Confirmation that Princeton pd has contacted the dogs' beloved human and there will be a reunion forthwith!! Thank you for caring and sharing!!!"

So that story appears headed for a happy ending.

You can read the original post below.

Authorities and animal control in central Minnesota are searching for a pair of beautiful Brittany spaniels that were stolen from Princeton early Saturday afternoon.

The brown and white dogs were taken from outside of a coffee shop between 12:00 and 12:20 p.m. The owner was inside the shop for a few minutes and came out to see the dogs were gone.

According to a Facebook post, the dogs were still missing as of Monday and the female has a litter of pups at home.

A Mille Lacs County Animal Control Facebook post notes that police in Princeton said businesses in the area are reviewing security cameras today hoping to help create leads for authorities.

Meanwhile a reward is being offered for the safe return of the dogs. Anyone with information can text or call leads anonymously to (320) 492-5865, and officials with animal control have offered to retrieve the dogs – no questions asked.

Here are a few photos of the missing Brittany spaniels.
