Diesel the dog has been found, according to Fox 9 News.

The missing man, Christopher Martin Simondet, may now be using public transit, according to police.

Family members told KARE 11 that Simondet has bipolar disorder and believe he's been without his medication.

Simondet is just over six feet tall, weights about 185 pounds and has brown curly hair.

KARE 11 reported volunteers began combing Burnes Park in Hopkins around 8:30 a.m. Friday for the 30-year-old, a day after police asked for the public's help in locating him.

Simondet was reported missing last Sunday.

Family and friends say he was last seen the same day walking his dog, an 85-pound Renaissance bulldog, in St. Louis Park.

However, police said Thursday that Simondet has been spotted several times in the last few days, but current location is unknown.

During a recent sighting, a witness said Simondet was wearing a hospital bracelet and appeared disoriented, FOX 9 reported.

Anyone who sees Simondet or his dog is urged to call 911.
