Searchers find Alexandria teen missing for nearly a month

Jasmine Block is being treated for minor injuries, police say.

The search for a 15-year-old Alexandria girl ended Tuesday when Jasmine Block was located in a rural area of western Minnesota, authorities say.

Alexandria police said in a Facebook post that Block was found in Grant County and is being treated for minor injuries at the Douglas County Hospital. She has been reunited with her family, the post says, and more details will come later.

The investigation into the case is ongoing.

Block had not been seen since leaving her family's home on the night of August 8.

Last month, investigators were looking for two other teens and a man in his 30s who witnesses spotted talking to Jasmine the day before she disappeared.

The reward for information leading to her return had climbed to $7,000 last week when an anonymous donor added $5,000.
