Second freezing rain/snow storm of week hits Minnesota
It may only be Tuesday, but Minnesota is coping with the week's second set of storm-covered roads.
Much like Sunday's sloppy mess, this storm began as freezing rain and will transition to snow. This time, though, the brunt of the storm is in the north. A storm warning is in effect for west central and north central Minnesota, where 5 to 8 inches may fall, and an advisory for the northeast.
Late Monday the latest round of freezing rain was already sending vehicles into ditches in the Fargo-Moorhead area.
Meanwhile, communities in the southeast were still cleaning up after the Sunday/Monday storm that spawned hundreds of accidents.
