A 90-year-old man who went missing this week, prompting the sheriff's office to ask for help locating him, has been found safe – and a suspect could face felony charges.
The Wadena County Sheriff's Office said the man, Waymon Sullivan, was found Tuesday afternoon in good health in Brooklyn Center, and will be reunited with his family soon.
He's actually from Cheyenne, Wyoming, but had been in the Wadena area for about a month until leaving unexpectedly Sunday night. He hadn't been seen or heard from since.
When she sheriff's office asked for the public's help finding the man, they noted foul play wasn't suspected, though believed he "was assisted in leaving the area by individuals he's had previous contact with."
In Tuesday afternoon's update, the sheriff's office said one suspect had been arrested, and formal felony charges will be sent to the Wadena County Attorney's Office for review. What exactly the charge might be was not detailed.
