Sheriff: Boy, 13, made 'hit list' of classmates

A 13-year-old boy in Chisago County was arrested after authorities discovered a school "hit list," KSTP reports.

The Post Review says the boy is a student at Rush City High School.

Chisago County Sheriff Rick Duncan said his office was notified by the county probation department Thursday morning, KARE 11 reports, after the list was recovered from the boy who is currently on probation for previous threats.

The list of names was titled, "People that won't be killed."

Other students told officers there was also a hit list, which was found later by authorities. The second list is titled "bullies," according to WCCO.

When deputies interviewed the boy, he admitted to putting the lists together.

He was placed under arrest and was taken to a secure detention facility in Lino Lakes.
