A man who was found dead lying in the parking lot of a business in Shoreview last week has been identified as 26-year-old Hagos Tsegay Melake, of South St. Paul.

An unidentified woman later photographed at an ATM using one of his bank cards is being sought as a person of interest in the homicide investigation, according to the Star Tribune.

Authorities were called to the business on the 5700 block of Hamline Avenue in Shoreview around 6:40 a.m. on Aug. 29. Upon arrival, they found Melake dead, reports WCCO-TV.

New details about the investigation into his death reveal Mealke was last seen leaving the Hunan Garden Restaurant on Cedar Street in downtown St. Paul about 1:30 a.m, reports the Pioneer Press.

One of his credit cards was used three hours later at an ATM at the US Bank branch on West Broadway Avenue in Minneapolis, the sheriff's office reported.
