From 'Sneakin' to 'Peepin': 5 of 21 Savage's most-killer collaborations

Here is a look back at a few of the 51 features the Atlanta star already has under his belt.

Young stunner 21 Savage has put in years of incredible collaborative work.

Since the Atlanta talent entered the rap game in 2013, he has released four EPs and mixtapes and has supplied features on 51 tracks and counting. Along the way, he linked with Drake on "Sneakin" and had Hov shout him out.

To get in the mood for his Myth takeover, we have rounded up some of the best tracks with guest verses by the "murder music" maker.

Hood Rich Clikk link

Although Hood Rich Clikk hasn't made much noise since releasing this pretty generic, yet catchy track with 21, it shows nothing but sheer growth from the Atlanta native. The chorus line for "Money" goes, "All I want is money, money, money, money, money," making it hard not to repeat. In less than 30 seconds, 21 is able to prove his aggressive approach is his signature style.

Forming a trap trio

Two year later, 21 Savage linked with then-incarcerated Gucci Mane. This collaboration, came 21 days after the 2016 XXL Freshman released his first EP, Free Guwop. The seven-song project dedicated to Gucci was a true Atlanta effort, as the production was done mostly by Sonny Digital with support from Zaytoven, SouthSide, and Metro Boomin.

On "Peepin," trap OG Gucci Mane took two young Atlanta artists under his wing. In 21's verse he talks about bringing a gun to middle school, the same story that he references in the chart-topping "No Heart."

DC4

As the steam from Savage Mode was still going strong at the end of last year, 21 Savage joined forces with Meek Mill. "Offended" starts strong with wavy, forceful vibes from yet another Atlanta creator, Young Thug. Meek Mill's verse is sandwiched between the Thugger verse and hook, ultimately making way for bars from 21 Savage.

Although, 21 Savage pokes fun at Meek Mill's beef with other rappers at the beginning of his verse, he stays on theme through the rest of his lines as he raps about his shiny diamonds, foreign cars, and more. In his last line, 21 proves he is not someone you want to get caught offending as he says "sneak dissing get a concussion" with ease.

Sneak dissing

Coincidentally, 21 Savage's next big collaboration was with Meek Mill rival Drake.

In "Sneakin,'" 21 Savage gets the opportunity to elaborate on why his headstrong mindset, savagery and money leads him to not pay mind to the sneak dissing anymore. He demonstrates versatility in his style of rapping that almost sounds like he is talking at times, by seamlessly spitting on a fiery Drake song produced by London On Da Track.

Giving back

This year, 21 Savage has already supplied five guest verses to other artists. Just as Gucci, Meek Mill and Drake have helped 21 Savage gain a larger audience, 21 doesn't bypass collabs with lesser-known artists.

Ralo is one of these newcomers that 21 Savage recently supported through a verse on "I Hope It Don't." In February, the Atlanta trapper released the sequel to his first mixtape, Famerican Gangster 2. The album includes a host of other well-known collaborators, including Gucci Mane, Future, Young Thug, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Yachty, and Birdman.

21 Savage has shown adaptability, yet consistency ever since his first guest verse. He continues to be a part of thoughtful collabs, making him a tastemaker in his own right.

With that being said, you won't want to miss his set at Myth tonight.
