KSTP reports the City Council voted 4-1 in favor of suspending Sean Rifenberick. This follows allegations of sexual harassment and misconduct against the chief last summer. In February, a handful of employees told the council Rifenberick was unfit to lead. City leaders agreed to review his performance.

Sean Rifenberick will receive $160,000 and full retirement benefits. The city isn't giving a reason for the settlement, but the City Council suspended the chief in March after several complaints. Rifenberick was accused of sexual harassment and misconduct last summer.
