A St. Cloud man was taken into custody Wednesday after police say he set fire to books on the second floor of a library.

Police and fire officials were called to the Great River Regional Library in St. Cloud Wednesday because a man was lighting books on fire, a news release says.

Officials say the fire was contained to some furniture and books, and was quickly put out.

The 47-year-old suspect was arrested near the entrance of the library and was booked into the Stearns County Jail. He faces felony first-degree arson charges, the release notes.

No injuries were reported with the fire, but the library was evacuated during the incident. Staff has decided to close the library for the rest of the day.

No word on if he's a Ray Bradbury fan.
