Have a hankering for State Fair turkey legs, cheese curds and Pronto Pups but don't want to brave the crowds or pay the entry fee? This person has the answer.
Some opportunistic entrepreneur uploaded an ad to Craigslist last week offering to deliver food from this year's Great Minnesota Get-Together to anyone living within a five-mile radius of the fairgrounds.
"I'll be at the MN State Fair, you text me ANYTHING you want to eat from the great MN get together and I will deliver it to you (within 5 miles) of the fair on my bicycle."
What do they get out of it? Well if you want anything, you have to pay a 20 percent gratuity on top of the cost of the food.
Many of you will no doubt prefer the throng and pageantry of the fair, but for those preferring to keep their evenings and weekends quieter, CityPages asks: "What could be more beautiful than taking delivery of a bucket of Sweet Martha's cookies, direct from the fair?"
