Coborn's Inc. is expanding the company's footprint in the oil-rich region of North Dakota with five new stores by 2014, the St. Cloud Times reports. “North Dakota is a prime market for Coborn’s to expand,” Coborn’s President and CEO Chris Coborn said in a statement. Coborn's opened a Jamestown, N.D., store in May. The St. Cloud-based grocery chain also partnered with Williston-headquartered JK Foods to co-own three supermarkets.

Western North Dakota city to auction off liquor license

Officials in Dickinson, N.D., will hold an auction Monday afternoon for the city's 17th liquor license. The City Administrator tells the Dickinson Press that bidding begins at $185,000 and it could sell for more than $300,000. St. Cloud-based Coborn Inc. plans to open a Cash Wise Foods grocery store in Dickinson and possibly a Cash Wise Liquor store.

Buffalo Wild Wings breaks ground in North Dakota's oil-rich region
