The Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office identified the body found wrapped in a sheet behind a St. Louis Park business Tuesday as 46-year-old Nerissa Annette Shaw of Minneapolis.

Police say a suspect arrested Wednesday afternoon for probable cause homicide is a man that Shaw had a restraining order against, FOX 9 reports.

The 54-year-old Minneapolis man, who has an extensive criminal history, is currently on probation for violating the protective order that Shaw had requested. KSTP says the two were a couple with a history of domestic violence.

Investigators say it appears Shaw was the victim of severe beating, FOX 9 said.

Criminal charges are expected to be filed in the next few days.
