St. Louis Park man sentenced for threatening kids with AK-47

Author:

A St. Louis Park man was sentenced to 120 days in the workhouse for pointing an assault rifle at a group of kids in a dispute over Halloween candy.

Orrin Hager will also pay a $500 fine after pleading guilty to an assault charge.

Hager was charged in November. Prosecutors say he pulled his car up to the group and began yelling at the kids. He then allegedly complained they were not taking him seriously and got out of the car to confront them with his AK-47.
