WE Fest campers already in line for weekend country music event

Campers are starting to roll into one of the most popular country music festivals in the country. At least 50,000 people are expected to pass through the Soo Pass for the four-day event near Detroit Lakes, which kicks runs Thursday through Sunday. Jody Feragen is nominated for the CFO magazine Women in Finance Awards. She was named vice president and chief financial officer for the Austin-based food producer in 2007. The awards will be presented May 15.

Luxury apartments going up in St. Louis Park

A new 10-story, 192-unit luxury apartment complex is expected to open in March 2013 in the western Minneapolis suburb. The Star Tribune reports the $40 million project will feature a rooftop terrace, a clubroom and a piazza recreation area.

St. Louis County gets $900,000 in mining royalties

The money comes from companies that are mining taconite on tax-forfeited land managed by the county. The royalty check will cover nearly one percent of St. Louis County's budget for next year. It may not be reliable income, though. A county official offers the reminder that taconite production can vary dramatically from year to year.

St. Louis Park worshippers mourn dissolution of church

It was the final Christmas mass for worshippers at the Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in St. Louis Park on Sunday.
