St. Paul HS briefly placed on lockdown after rumor of student having a weapon

Como Park Senior High School in St. Paul was placed on lockdown Monday after a student overheard another student saying he had a gun.

The lockdown happened before noon Monday, reports note, and was lifted before 1 p.m., the school says.

The Star Tribune says the student who made the claim is being interviewed, noting no gun had been found and no shots were fired.

Police are investigating the incident, the school notes.
