St. Paul Mayor Chris Coleman wants the city to attract more young residents and workers.

In his State of the City speech Monday Coleman said he'll meet with students at some of the colleges in St. Paul to ask them what they like about the city and what would encourage them to make it home.

Coleman also emphasized public transit, announcing the revival of a task force that will work to swing transit projects toward the eastern Twin Cities.

Another task force will look at the best re-use of the former Macy's department store and other vacant properties in the city.
