A 21-year-old woman who had been hiking with her boyfriend along a Mississippi River bluff Sunday night fell about 30 feet, prompting a tricky rescue, the Pioneer Press reports. Emergency crews immobilized the woman, who suffered shoulder and neck pain, and used ropes to haul her back up.

The operation was complicated when rescuers hit a bees nest, KSTP reports.
