A University of St. Thomas junior was found dead in an on-campus apartment Friday afternoon, the Star Tribune reports.

University spokesman Jim Winterer says 22-year-old Mark Langdon of Omaha, Neb. was found in his bedroom after friends requested that public safety personnel check on him.

Langdon was majoring in political science.

No foul play is suspected and the university does not believe there is any threat to students on campus.

The cause of death will be determined after an autopsy is performed.
