The incident happened on the first floor in the Macy's men's department around 6:45 p.m., the Star Tribune says

According to KSTP, Bloomington police said the stabbing suspect tried to steal items from a shopper in a dressing room. A scuffle ensued when the thief was confronted, and that person was stabbed.
