The Great Minnesota "Sweat" Together is returning to the Great Minnesota "Get" Together thanks to cooler temperatures, reports KSTP-TV.

State Fair crowds were out in full force Friday, the station reports, although official numbers were not available from fair officials Saturday morning.

On Thursday, 117,480 people attended the Fair, bettering the same day a year ago when 101,379 people came out on the eighth day of the Fair.

It was the first day since last Saturday where daily attendance was better than 2012, according to the Star Tribune.

The tally was nowhere near the day eight record set back in 1995 with 155,183 visitors.

Fair officials remain optimistic today because there will be a lot of hip-hop fans in attendance tonight as Macklemore and Ryan Lewis perform to a sold-out crowd at the grandstand. The duo hits the stage at 7:30 p.m.

Today is also FFA Day as judges look for the best dairy cattle in the AgStar Arena. They will also be judging swine, sheep and market goats in the Swine Barn.
