The Minnesota Department of Revenue has scheduled a news conference for Monday to address the reported problems with Intuit electronic tax filing software, including TurboTax, the StarTribune reports.

The DOR said in a press release Friday that "Intuit has discovered multiple issues with their products. The issues could jeopardize the accuracy of your return or delay your refund."

The state advised individuals and businesses not to use Intuit products TurboTax, Lacerte, Intuit online and ProSeries, due to multiple problems.

According to Intuit spokeswoman Julie Miller, that the company is working to fix the problems.

Miller tells The Associated Press that the problems are confined to Intuit customers in Minnesota, and says people who have already filed have been notified.

She added that the company will issued a refund to any customer who asks for one.

The Star Tribune says 11,000 Minnesota tax returns haven't been processed because of the Intuit problems.

Assistant Commissioner of Revenue Terri Steenblock said if the company can't fix the reported coding problems, the state will stop accepting returns filed with Intuit software, according to the Star Tribune.
