An inmate died at the Minnesota State Correctional Facility in Stillwater after what officials say was 'an incident'. The man was taken to Regions Hospital where he died.

Corrections spokesman John Schadl told the Star Tribune no one else was injured. He also said he couldn't release any other information right away because of an ongoing investigation.

Just last month, the state paid out a record settlement of $400,000 after an inmate at the Rush City prison died in custody from a seizure disorder, the Star Tribune reported.
