The Minnesota State Patrol says troopers responded to more than 100 crashes in the Twin Cities during Tuesday morning's commute. Luckily, none involved serious injuries.

Light snow continued to fall in downtown Minneapolis after 12 p.m., but should taper off by late afternoon. KARE 11 reports two-day storm snow totals in the metro range from 6 to 10 inches.

Minneapolis, St. Paul and some Twin Cities suburbs declared snow emergencies.

Many students in the metro got a snow day, while most St. Paul high schools and middle schools are letting out early.
