Study: 6% of Minnesota workers make minimum wage

A study released by the Department of Labor and Industry estimates 93,000 Minnesota workers were paid $7.25 an hour or less during the year ending in July 2011. This represents 6.1 percent of the 1.53 million hourly workers in the state.
