Sun Country is now serving Jimmy John's on its flights

Now the sandwiches will really be freaky fast.

Now you can get Jimmy John's when you fly Sun Country.

A spokesperson for the Minnesota-based airline confirmed to GoMN Monday travelers can buy a Turkey Tom sandwich on all domestic flights.

The Turkey Tom includes fresh-sliced turkey breast, lettuce, tomato and mayo, according to Jimmy John's website.

Sun Country is the first airline to serve Jimmy John's, the Business Journal says. The sandwiches will be smaller than the ones you get on the ground (they'll be 4 inches long), and will run you $6 (a regular Turkey Tom is $7.10), or you can get a Jimmy John's Meal Deal for $9 – it includes Pringles or pretzels, saving you $1, according to Sun Country.

This is the latest addition to Sun Country's in-flight menu, which also includes a bunch of Minnesota-made offerings, like beer from SurlyLift Bridge and Founding Fathers, booze from Crooked Water Spirits, kettle corn from Angie's Boomchickapop, and a cheeseburger that's made with Lions Tap's "Famous Seasoning."

Sun Country plans to add Jimmy John's to international flights soon, the Business Journal says.
