Your Old Droog and Wiki have surprised us with a new EP, and it sounds very, very New York-ish.

New music releases usually always fall on Tuesday or Friday, but why would Your Old Droog start being conventional now?

The NYC indie-ground favorite and WIKI (of Ratking) just shocked the rap world with the surprise release of What Happened to Fire? It's a five-track EP of unfiltered underground goodness.

With production from Black Milk, RTNC, Statik Selektah, Araabmuzik & !llMind and Tony Seltzer, as well as vocal excerpts of Kool Keith peppered throughout, you can practically taste the boom-bap.

It truly is out of nowhere as Droog released a solo single in "G.K.A.C." three weeks ago with no inclination this was even on the horizon, but here we are. Let's hope 2017 continues with the actually good surprises.
