Target among Pinterest's new brand partners

Target Corp. is one of the companies partnering with Pinterest as it launches a new type of "pin" structure, Mashable reports. The scrapbooking social network has upgraded certain product pins to offer more information without the need for the viewer to go to the brand’s website.

According to PCMag.com, Pinterest's other partners include Anthropolgie, eBay, Etsy, Home Depot, Modcloth, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Overstock, REI, Sephora, Sony, Urban Outfitters, and Walmart, as well as 101 Cookbooks, Better Homes and Gardens, Bon Appetit, Chobani, Epicurious, Good Housekeeping, Martha Stewart Living, Real Simple, Whole Foods Market and Woman's Day.

Earlier this month, Target boosted its presence on Facebook with a new deal-sharing collaboration, dubbed Cartwheel.
