Target stores are gearing up for the release of the Neiman Marcus collection for holiday shoppers – 50 items designed by 24 designers, many high-profile names, including Jason Wu, Oscar de la Renta and Marc Jacobs.

The Minneapolis-based retailer is hoping the limited-edition collection is a smash hit. But not so much so that it irks customers, as did the release of a Missoni collection earlier this year that was plagued by long lines, instant sell-outs, and a crashed website, the Pioneer Press reports.

The items for sale vary, from fashion and accessories for women, men and kids to home goods and sporting goods to pet accessories. Prices range from $7.99 to $499.99 but most items cost less than $60.

If you plan to go, here's four bits of advice.

Stores are scheduled to sell the Neiman collection through Dec. 20, but it is expected to be sold out well in advance of that.
