Target taps Lauren Bush to fight hunger, offer exclusive collection


Minneapolis-based Target Corp. is teaming up with FEED Projects to create a limited-time collection that will benefit Feeding America, a non-profit with more than 200 food banks across the country, USA Today reports.

Lauren Bush Lauren, a fashion model and the collection’s co-designer, founded FEED Projects in 2007. She is George W. Bush's niece and Ralph Lauren's daughter-in-law.

“This is our largest-ever initiative to fight hunger here in the U.S.,” Lauren told People magazine. “We hope to provide more than 10 million meals to children and families across America.”

“Establishing meaningful partnerships is part of Target’s brand legacy, from innovative design collaborations to long-term community programs,” Stacia Andersen, Target's senior vice president of merchandising, said in a news release. “Through our partnership with FEED, we are offering our guests an exclusive, stylish collection that also supports an important cause.”

The 50-piece FEED USA + Target collection will include home items, sporting goods, stationery, apparel, and accessories. Prices will range from $3 to $400.
