Witnesses told the St. Michael Patch that 16-year-old Michaela Olson fell to the pavement while running Sunday morning in St. Michael.

Olson’s family told WCCO-TV Monday afternoon that her death was not heat-related.

The teen's uncle told FOX 9 she has had some breathing problems for the past three years, but they haven't been able to figure out the cause.

Meanwhile, KARE 11 reports the hot weather will continue through the week.

Police: 3 teens died in crash after trying to get girl's attention

The teenagers were returning to New Richmond, Wis., from Woodbury and authorities say they were trying to get the attention of a girl in another car that had passed them. The driver was searching a center console in the vehicle, authorities said. A fourth teen in the car survived the crash.
