5 children killed in north Minneapolis duplex fire

Several media outlets are reporting five children died in a fire at a north Minneapolis duplex Friday morning. Fire crews were called to the blaze at 2818 Colfax Avenue N. around 5 a.m. Minneapolis Fire Chief John Fruetel said firefighters encountered heavy smoke in the three-story building.
