Authorities held a press conference Thursday afternoon to discuss the arrest of Ty Hoffman, who has been on the run for the last month, wanted in the killing of Kelly Phillips. Officers took Hoffman into custody at an Arby's in Shakopee after a citizen tipped off police to his whereabouts.

Two young girls reportedly admitted to police they're behind the defacing of at least a dozen gravestones at Maple Lawn Cemetery in Faribault. The girls, ages 10 and 11, told authorities they did it to get back at a teenage boy by spray painting his phone number on the gravestones.
